Salmo Parkinson SuperWalk!
in Me for the Salmo Parkinson SuperWalk!
On Saturday, September 12 at 9:30 a.m., our community will come together at the Salmo Valley Community Youth Centre for the Parkinson SuperWalk, raising funds and awareness to support the more than 17,500 British Columbians living with Parkinson's disease.
Parkinson SuperWalk is the most important fundraiser for Parkinson Society British Columbia, helping fund vital programs and services, strengthen advocacy efforts, and invest in innovative research. These resources empower people living with Parkinson's and their families by providing education, support, and opportunities to improve quality of life.
This cause is especially meaningful to me because I have seen the effects Parkinson's can have on those diagnosed, as well as on their loved ones. That's why I have formed a team for this year's walk, and I would be honoured if you would consider joining me or making a donation in support of this important work.
I also want to recognize Todd Wallace and Jackie Jonkheid, whose tireless dedication and advocacy have made a tremendous difference in raising awareness and supporting those affected by Parkinson's. They are incredible champions for this cause, and I am proud of the work they have done for our community.
Whether you walk, donate, or simply help spread the word, your support can make a real difference.
