Hey Area G!

Big announcement from me

I’m running to be your next Area Director.

I love this community we call home - Area G is a beautiful place to live, from Ymir to Ross Spur, Nelway to surrounding the village of Salmo. It is genuinely special here. But I also know that it’s not easy place to live right now. Costs keep climbing, our infrastructure feels stretched, and our systems haven’t kept pace with how fast we are growing.

There is real work ahead to help our community address these challenges and reach our full potential.

I’m running for Area Director because I believe that Area G needs experienced, collaborative leadership at this moment.

My priorities as Area Director:

a strong voice for Area G

 earning your trust

 disciplined investment into our infrastructure

local government that works for you

Five years I have worked in provincial government building relationships, representing constituents means that I have the skills, relationships, and understanding how to do this job and do it well.

I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to have served this community over the last five years. This October, I hope to earn your support to be Regional District of Central Kootenays Area G Director and lead Area G into what it is capable of becoming.
